The Luins wine-growing area (104 hectares) is characterised by the diversity of its soil. While clay gives Gamay fruity notes, chalky limestone lends finesse and elegance to Chasselas. Elsewhere, rocky soils add superb richness to the Pinot Noir and Gris varieties. The vineyards face Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc beyond. The area’s micro-climate and the special features of its soil make for truly remarkable wines.
